In the event that your child will be late or away from school, please call or leave a message with Mrs. Bosch at 306-791-8483. Please leave your child's name, grade, teacher and the reason for the absence. We appreciate your help!

In partnership with the Regina Police Service and our School Resource Officer, we practice school "Evacuation", "Lockdown", and "Secure the Building" drills throughout the school year:

• Lockdown (threat in or to building) - All school occupants are secured in designated locked areas and regular activities are stopped.
• Secure the Building (threat outside the building) - All exterior doors are locked. No one can enter or exit the building. School activities continue inside the building.
• Evacuation - Students will exit the building to a designated location. All students will be accounted for once safety exited.

Ruth Pawson is striving to be a cash-free school. For safety and efficiency reasons, we want to reduce the amount of cash and cheques coming into our school. All school fees can be paid on-line. If you need assistance, please call Mrs. Bosch in the school office at 306-791-8483 or stop by the school. Please find attached Regina Public Schools' "Driver's Authorization Form" (click here). 

This form needs to be completed each school year. In order to drive students, you must have a Police Information Check (PIC) on file with us as well. Please contact our school office to get a letter of introduction to take to the Regina Police Service. The Police Service does not charge a fee for PICs for volunteers.

We are pleased to announce that Kindergarten Registrations for the 2018-2019 school year are now being accepted. Children must be 5 years old by December 31 of 2018 in order to enroll. Please remember that the staff parking lot is not for general use. For safety reasons, this space has been designated for staff use only and is not for general parking or for dropping off/picking up your children. Please do not walk your child through the parking lot, as staff members can be leaving at various points throughout the day for meetings or workshops.

Regina Public Schools will be closed February 16-25. Enjoy the winter  break! See you back on Monday, February 26th.

Staff Appreciation week is February 11-17, 2018 and this year's theme is "Inspiration Through Learning."

We would like to say thanks to all the amazing staff at Ruth Pawson School. Our Pawson staff works very hard, and goes above and beyond to create a wonderful learning environment for your children. Our amazing staff includes teachers, educational assistants, caretakers, our administrative assistant, speech and language pathologist, school psychologist, school counsellor, School Resource Officer,  and our principal.

We hope you will take the time to say 'thank you' to these hard working people at Ruth Pawson.

On Wednesday, February 14th, the SRC will be hosting a dance for the school community in celebration of Valentine's Day. There will also be a $3.00 charge for admission, and there will be free canteen treats for K-4 (juice box and chips) and Grade 5-8 will have the option to purchase pop or popcorn for $2.00, chips for $1.00, and a "mystery bag" for $3.00. Come dressed in your best red, white and pink! Grades K - 4 will be dancing from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.,  and grades 5 - 8 from 1:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
